Why Dogs Are Superior to Humans

Author’s note: The dogs above are named Bella and Sadie

Humans may be the self-proclaimed dominant species on this Earth, but they are vastly inferior to another species many view as being beneath them: dogs. For one, dogs are loyal, brave, and objectively cuter. If you are ever in a bad situation, you can count on your dog to have your back. A dog will stand at its master’s side to the very end, regardless of the odds. Humans, on the other hand, are nowhere near as reliable. Benedict Arnold, the infamous traitor who betrayed the colonists for the British, is an example or Henry VIII, who beheaded two of his wives. Dogs, on the other hand, can be wholeheartedly trusted by those they work alongside. One example of this is Yoda, a police dog who caught convicted murderer Danilo Cavalcante in September of 2023. Yoda personally subdued the criminal, playing a crucial role in preventing Cavalcante from firing a stolen rifle (KCRA 3 News). Dogs like Yoda are very loyal and useful to the officers they work alongside, being trusted to subdue criminals in a less lethal way than the police. Dogs are also used in the military, but they are very unlikely to betray the soldiers they work with. The chances of a dog beheading its owner is equally unlikely.

Dogs are also exceedingly brave creatures. Dogs will face down any enemy to protect the life of their owner. There have been multiple cases of dogs facing down wild animals much larger than themselves to protect their humans. There have even been instances where dogs have intimidated predators such as Grizzly Bears, scaring the larger animal into thinking it cannot get into a fight without risking its own health (AZ Animals). Dogs will guard their owner’s house while they are gone, and will alert them, sometimes excessively, to any living creature that passes by the window. Even a little dog like a chihuahua will do its best to protect its human’s house, bravely barking at the pregnant lady with a stroller walking down the street. In October of 2023, a dog in Florida stepped in when its owner was attacked and stabbed by a man named Joshua Joseph Mueller. The dog in question was then stabbed in the head and the chest, but survived (Law&Crime). A dog will not hesitate to protect its owner in a time of need, even at the cost of its own wellbeing.

Dogs are objectively cuter than humans. Example A vs Example B:

There is truly no comparison. Dogs are more loyal, brave, and cute then humans could ever aspire to be, even if they can at some points be considered annoying or loud.
