Shortened Lunch times in school C+:

The time you have to eat lunch at school is being cut down by 10 minutes.This is because the district believes that kids have too much social time at lunch and not enough time learning. 

New Pet in AG D:

This past week we learned that AG got a new animal. This new animal is a baby hippo and her name is Sage. Sage is so cute, but she is also so messy, loud and a troublemaker. Sage has learned how to open her cage and get out and run around the school. It takes 67 students to catch her and put her back in her cage to just do the same thing again. Mrs. Fagan thought this would be a good addition to the school. Do you think so? 

Chicago the Musical D+:

Last week, Mrs. Cometa made the extremely harsh decision to keep the cast of Chicago at the school overnight for an all-nighter because they were not prepared for the upcoming show. The students were forced to rehearse continuously throughout the night, with only one short 10-minute break to eat the food that had been provided by the school. Exhausted, stressed, and  overwhelmed, the cast tried to push through despite their fatigue.

However, things quickly took a turn for the worse when the students later realized that the food they had been given was spoiled. Many of them began experiencing severe symptoms of food poisoning, including nausea, dizziness, and vomiting. Despite this, Mrs. Cometa insisted that rehearsals continue. Students were left trying to perform while visibly ill, some even throwing up backstage or in between scenes, with little to no time to recover. The situation became chaotic and concerning, as the students’ health and well-being were clearly being ignored. What had started as an attempt to improve their performance turned into an exhausting and unhealthy ordeal, leaving many students physically sick and emotionally drained.

Summer reading D+: 

Students are now required to read a minimum of 30 books over the summer and write a summary on each one of them. And no, you can not use AI, because this is part of your English grade for next year and if you do not complete this you will fail English and have to automatically retake the class. The teachers will be running it through multiple AI checkers and if even one percent is detected you will automatically fail with no option to appeal. 

Bathroom times F:

When you go to the bathroom during the school day you will not only be limited to one time per day, but you will only have one minute in the bathroom. If you go over the required uses and times you will be expelled from the school. 

Spring Sports F:

ALL spring sports are cancelled due to the sun being too powerful. When you’re on the sunny side of the field, it is so bright that it has been blinding our players. We hope to figure out what’s going on before the start of spring season next year. Also, the turf is mole infested and the wildlife organization is fighting to protect their home and not allowing us to do any sports on the turf or even step foot on the turf because it could harm the moles.  Summer practices are still up in the air.
