Summer Reading should be FUN and relaxing…no rubrics, no assessments! In an effort to both encourage students to read, and reward them for it as well, the LHS library will be holding a raffle for each book read during the summer.
Students who read (or partially read) a book or books during the summer are invited to submit a response to this Google Form (one submission per book read or listened to). Each Google submission counts as one entry into a drawing for prizes such as LHS Homecoming tickets, tickets to LHS football games, Colonel gear, or even a 2018 LHS yearbook! Students are also invited to share book recommendations and/or reviews on Twitter and Instagram using #ColonelsRead.
For more information and recommendations from some of your favorite LHS teachers, check out bit.ly/colonelsread. Email library@ledyard.net with any questions.
The library will be available to check books out from during the summer, with unlimited borrowing.
