Star Wars Review

It’s no wonder the new addition to the Star Wars saga was both the highest grossing and most anticipated movie of 2015. The film ended up breaking international box office records left and right.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the seventh movie of the Star Wars saga featuring The Resistance’s search to find Luke Skywalker, the last Jedi, and an unlikely love story between Rey, a common scavenger girl, and Finn, a traitor of The First Order. Rey and Finn have the last piece of the map needed by The Resistance, secured in BB8, the cutest robot ever, to find Skywalker and go on a dangerous journey between planets to deliver the map. The First Order is also desperate to find the last Jedi and destroy him, so they serve as an extremely dangerous and powerful enemy to the new duo. Rey and Finn run into the infamous Han Solo and Chewbacca when they take control of their ship, but end up becoming allies with the same wish: to put an end to The First Order.

Episode VII is a jampacked movie that takes you on an intense journey between warring planets. The new movie is filled with captivating twists and turns and even throws in a few heartbreaking moments for it’s audience, fair warning. The Force Awakens is highly recommended for any fans of action or sci-fi and conveniently has a storyline that allows you to understand the movie without seeing any of the first six movies.

Overall, the movie was a great continuation of the Star Wars saga, so much that Episode VIII is already highly anticipated by dedicated fans worldwide.
