4. Sing Christmas songs
“The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.” Buddy the Elf tells us in the movie Elf that singing is the best thing to do during the holiday season.
5. Go see Santa
It’s hard to have Christmas without Santa Clause, so why not pay him a visit and tell him what you want for Christmas.
6. Spend time with family
One of the most important things during the holiday is to spend time with family. Get together and have dinner together or go ice skating, or even just a walk up and down the road.
7. Knit a blanket
Grab some yarn, grab some needles and turn on a movie. Knitting is a way to relax, you also get something out of it at then end; a nice warm blanket.
8. Donate to charity
Around the holiday season, it’s a really hard time for people that don’t have homes. Around the holiday season is one of the best times to donate.
9. Make a gingerbread house
Another activity to do with your family or friends is making a gingerbread house. You can decorate the house to look like anything you want.
10. Pick out the perfect Christmas tree
Like Clark Griswold shows in the movie Christmas Vacation, no one goes out to the woods to find the perfect Christmas tree anymore. Maybe you should do that this year!
