The agriscience department has sponsored many different sales throughout the year, including pork, chicken, eggs, and plants. If you have missed previous sales and haven’t had a chance to support the ag department, their annual Spring Plant Sale is coming up. The sale dates are May 11-13. Items available for purchase will be: herbs, vegetables, flowers, and hanging baskets.  

On Thursday, May 11, students and staff can come at any time throughout the day until 3:30 p.m. and on Friday, May 12, until 5 p.m. The sale is first come first serve, but no need to worry because there are about 4,000 or more plants in our greenhouses. For parents or other members of the public who would like to purchase plants, the plants will be available for purchase on Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Students will be there to help visitors pick out plants and coach them on how to care for them, and the prices will start at one dollar, so there are feasible options for everyone. 

If you don’t trust yourself to keep a plant alive, the Ag store will also be open to peruse handmade jewelry, homemade dog treats, pressed flower bookmarks, yarn from our alpacas, dog toys, customizable bandanas, and photography prints and shadow boxes. Every purchase made supports our FFA chapter and the students who make the products.
