On Tuesday March 18, a woman was arrested in the dirt parking lot in the back of Ledyard High School for being under the influence of drugs. Police stated that they saw a black GMC envoy parked in the lot around 11 am, and when they started to interview her and ordered her out of the vehicle, a crackpipe fell from her car. She also admitted to possessing cocaine, crackpipe, and other paraphernalia.
Mrs. Fagan said that, “The Ledyard Police notified us later that morning about the situation, once they had resolved it.”
She was then charged for possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school, and driving while under the influence. She is currently being held on a $7,500 bond and is facing a judge next Tuesday.
