A to the Horizons Yearbook staff: Not many people see the hard work and dedication that goes into literally building a yearbook year after year. Congratulations to the yearbook staff for submitting half of the yearbook this past weekend!

F to the rising heat within the school: We are starting to think that the school thermostats are stuck on max heat because by the time we leave the building at 2:05, we are drenched in sweat. Please open the windows teachers, we are begging you!

F to wasting paper, high phone bill for Ledyard: Reminders via reverse 911 is really proving to be a double-edged sword for Ledyard. Phone reminders are good if you can’t read a calendar or don’t have a child that remembers dates well. Choose one mode of reminding families of breaks or half days, not two.

Leah Sheltry, Assistant Editor-in-Chief 

Senior Leah Sheltry is the Assistant Editor-in-Chief of the 2015-2016 Colonel. She is the secretary of Youth United for Global Action and Awareness (YUGA) Club and is on the swim team. She will attend Lasell College to study Fashion Communication & Promotion next fall.

Megan Brawner, Editor-in-Chief

Senior Megan Brawner is the Editor-in-Chief of the 2015-2016 Colonel. She is the captain of the cross country team and runs Indoor and Outdoor Track. She participates in Youth United for Global Action and Awareness (YUGA) Club and is the secretary of the Senior Class. She is the Editor of Key Club. She will attend Central Connecticut State University to study Business next fall.
