At Ledyard High, it’s no secret that the music program is a huge part of what makes the school memorable. Ledyard’s music program is known all around the US, and for a good reason- the choirs are insanely talented. With such a high bar set for the music program, students have to work ridiculously hard to uphold the name, and now it’s time to show them off! Concert season is finally approaching, and kicking into high gear as students get ready for Meet the Choirs, taking place on October 25 at 7:30 pm!
Meet the Choirs is the first concert of the year, and a great chance to display the spirit of the Ledyard Music Program. Featuring performances from Women’s Choir, Men’s Choir, Premier, Acabellas, Final Cut, Concert Choir and Chamber Choir, this is a concert that can not be missed! Perhaps the most exciting concert of the year, it’s a good idea for a date night, parents, and friends supporting their fellow peers.
Tickets are $5 each, and there are multiple ways to purchase them, including:
- Go online to www.ledyardmusic.com and purchase with a credit/debit card
- Buy tickets as a student or teacher during lunch in the Media Center
- Purchase at the door (possible, but not recommended as the show will most likely sell out)
With all these ways to purchase tickets to Meet the Choirs, everyone should show support to the many students involved in the music program who have worked tremendously hard to perfect their sound and will continue to even after the concert to prepare for the three other major choral events held throughout the year. This is just the beginning to a bright future within the LHS Music Program!
