Fundraisers coming up

It’s your chance to shine students. On Monday April 3, there will be a school fundraiser to pie teachers. This pie showdown will take place after school until 3:00 p.m.  The key is you have to donate $10 to pie a teacher. Rules are, you are going to be blindfolded when throwing a pie at a teacher. However, if you miss the teacher, then the teacher has a chance to throw a pie at you. So don’t miss your shot.

Now you’re probably wondering what teachers are going to be involved. That I cannot tell you, it’s a secret . You will just have to come and find out. Along with pieing the teachers, there will be a basket raffle to be a principal for the day. You will get a ticket for the raffle when you donate $10. The principal for a day includes a special lunch, no classes, and you get to hangout with Mrs. Fagan for the whole school day. So don’t miss your chance to earn this special prize. Bring your friends and come have a fun time.

Another fundraiser you won’t want to miss is Tape the Principal. This event will take place on April 21, during both lunch waves. The fundraiser will raise money for the Class of 2023.  Each piece of tape is $1 and you can buy pieces a week prior to April break. We need your help to keep your lovely principal Mrs. Fagan taped to the wall for an entire week. You can also sign-up to bring her food throughout the week. Don’t let her fall or starve!

Coming up after is the town clean up. Town cleanup will take place on April 8 at the Bill Library. The event starts at 9:00 am and ends at 11:00am.  For every garbage you pick up outside , $1 will be donated from the “Keep America Beautiful” organization to our school. You must also dress like a garbage can to make the event festive. Their goal is to keep communities green. It’s our job to keep our neighborhoods clean and to keep our planet healthy. So come make a difference and do a good deed. Keep in mind you can add this to your resume for community service.

Get out and come support your school. Pie teachers, tape the principal, and town cleanup. The fundraisers will be lots of fun and will be a good way to raise money. We haven’t had much success with our fundraisers this year. So hopefully with the new fundraisers they will have a good outcome.
