Scavenger hunts are a fun and unique way to bring people together to search for objects and cool prizes. They were first popular in the 1930s, and are still a fun adventure today. This year, Ledyard High School students will have a chance to participate in their own scavenger hunt to finish off the 2016-2017 school year.
The goal is to bring people who don’t know each other together through this fun new contest, where people can make friends while searching for objects. This scavenger hunt starts at the beginning of fourth quarter, and goes until the end of the year. Around the school, there will be various objects around the school, such as paper cutouts of yellow suns, two-by-three green legos, and blue golf balls.
If any of these objects are found, they can be turned into the main office where they can be exchanged for various prizes. Some of these prizes might include a Wacky Balloon, Crazy String, a rubber goose, and more. This is a chance to get together with friends and make new ones, while having fun and winning prizes.
