At the end of April, we will unfortunately be saying goodbye to a beloved member of our school’s family — our principal, Amanda Fagan.
Fagan plans on relocating to another high school in Detroit, Michigan due to both the need for administration in the city and her familial connection to the area. Arty Fischel, the current Vice Principal of Renaissance High School in Detroit, Michigan said, “We are excited to welcome Amanda to our administration and look forward to seeing the positive effects of a steadfast disciplinary on the behavior of our student body.”
The plans to replace Fagan’s position in Ledyard High School were finalized March 25, 2017, and William Turner, one of the school’s current Assistant Principals, is set to take over when Fagan leaves April 30, 2017.
Be sure to wish Fagan goodbye by this date! She will be dearly missed.
