Summer Movies to Go See

With the summer fast approaching, many blockbuster movies are coming out as well. Some of these movies include “Jurassic World”, “Uncle Drew”, “Ant Man and the Wasp.” Many of these movies are great summer movies to see with friends and family, here’s a list of the top 10 movies to see this summer.

  1. “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.” When the island’s dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from the volcano.
  2. “Uncle Drew.” After draining his life savings to enter a team in the Rucker Classic streetball tournament in Harlem, Dax (Lil Rel Howery) is dealt a series of unfortunate setbacks. Desperate to win the tournament, Dax stumbles upon the man, the myth, the legend Uncle Drew (NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving) and convinces him to return to the court one more time.
  3. “Ant-Man and the Wasp.” Sequel to the Marvel movie “Ant Man,” this is the next film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Scott Lang teams up with Hope Van Dyne to defeat what they know as “The Ghost.”
  4. “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.” In this sequel to the hit musical “Mamma Mia,” Sophie learns about her mother’s past, while dealing with her own pregnancy.
  5. “Incredibles 2.” Mr. Incredible deals with staying home with the kids, while Elastigirl is out saving the world.
  6. “Tag.” Based on a true story, a small group of former classmates organize an elaborate game of tag which requires some to travel halfway across the world. (This movie is rated R)
  7. “Ocean’s 8.” Based off of the classic movie, “Ocean’s 11,” this all female cast attempts an impossible heist at New York City’s yearly Met Gala.
  8. “Solo: A Star Wars Story.” This story shows Han Solo and Chewbacca’s adventures before joining the Rebellion.
  9. “Deadpool 2.” The sequel to “Deadpool,” continues the story of the antihero known as Deadpool. The movie continues the attitudes and humors as in the first movie. (This movie is rated R)
  10. “Adrift.” Based on a true story, a young couple battles one of the most deadly hurricanes recorded. They leave to sail the ocean and an unknown storm approaches them fast. They movie covers the incredibly true story of how they fought for survival.

With all of these movies to see, there’s no way to be bored this summer. Grab some popcorn and a soda and get ready for the movies of summer 2018.
