Throughout these past months of quarantine, every day it feels as though  another celebrity couple announces the arrival of their bundle of joy. With so many new babies, it can be hard to keep up. This article provides an overview of just some of the newborns that were welcomed into 2020.

Ed Sheeran & Cherry Seaborn

Ed Sheeran announced on September 1 that his wife, Cherry Seaborn, gave birth to their daughter, Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran. In his post, Sheeran said “Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here.” 

Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas

The “Game of Thrones” star allegedly gave birth to their daughter on July 22. According to JustJared, their daughter’s name is Willa. A representative for the couple confirmed the birth of Willa, but neither of them have personally confirmed it on social media. 

Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom

Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry welcomed Daisy Dove Bloom on August 26. In her Instagram post, Katy Perry stated “We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter.”

Maren Morris & Ryan Hurd 

Hayes Hurd was born early in quarantine on March 23. Maren Morris had a picture posted on Instagram where she stated that Hayes is the “Love of our lives.” She has since deleted the post, but she has since posted many photos of her newborn. 

Pau Gasol & Catherine McDonnell 

Catherine and Pau announced the birth of their first child on September 13. The couple honored Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna, who died in January by naming their daughter Elisabet Gianna Gasol. The former Lakers player captioned the photo of their newborn, “A very meaningful name for our super beautiful daughter!” 

Leighton Meester & Adam Brody

The “Gossip Girl” star welcomed their son during quarantine. Adam Brody said in a Twitch video, in September, that the couple welcomed a “dream boy” during quarantine, but neither of them have posted any photos on social media. 

Alec Baldwin & Hilaria Baldwin 

On September 8, the couple welcomed their fifth child. Hilaria Baldwin announced in an Instagram post, “We would love to introduce you to Eduardo Pau Lucas Baldwin. . . He weighed 7lbs 8oz. His name means ‘wealthy guardian of peace and light.’”

Lea Michele & Zandy Reich 

The “Glee” star welcomed her first child on August 20. Lea Michele confirmed the birth of their son, Ever Leo Reich, with a post on Instagram that she captioned, “ForEver grateful for this blessing.” 

Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel 

Brian McKnight told Hollywood Life on July 31, that the couple had secretly welcomed their second child. 

Gigi Hadid & Zayn Malik 

Gigi and Zayn announced the birth of their baby girl on September 23. Zayn posted a photo of him and his daughter holding hands with the caption “Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful. . . The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding.” 

Ciara & Russell Wilson

On July 23, Ciara gave birth to her third child, Win. Russell Wilson posted a selfie on Instagram that he captioned, “Win Harrison Wilson 7.23.2020 8lbs 1oz.” 

Jesse Tyler Ferguson & Justin Mikita 

The couple welcomed their first child, Beckett Mercer, on July 7, 2020. Jesse Tyler Ferguson wrote on Instagram, “Two weeks ago I got to see you become a dad. . . Beckett is so lucky to have you and so am I.”

Alex Morgan & Servando Carrasco

The U.S. Women’s Soccer star announced the birth of her first child on Twitter stating, “At 1130am on May 7 weighing 8lbs5oz, Charlie Elena Carrasco made her grand entrance into the world . . . My super moon baby.” 

Elon Musk & Grimes 

In early May, the couple welcomed their first child, X Æ A-12 Musk. Elon Musk tweeted “Mom & baby all good.” In a tweet Grimes stated that her son’s name meant ““•X, the unknown variable •Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence) •A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent + (A=Archangel, my favorite song) (metal rat).”

Rupert Grint & George Groome

A representative for the couple told PEOPLE that “Rupert Grint and Georgia Groom are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl. We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time.”
