On Jan. 31, Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Georgia home.
An unnamed source tells People Magazine Brown “was under the influence of drugs the morning she was found.” Multiple sources confirmed the late singer’s 21-year-old daughter used heroin and Xanax frequently, and, in the mirror image of her mother, cocaine.
People Magazine points to the fact that Brown was found in her bathtub just days before her mother’s anniversary of death, and that may be a reason why Brown overdosed.
Police are investigating how exactly Brown ended up face down in the bathtub of her Georgia home, and are pointing to Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon. Houston informally adopted Gordon when he was 12 years old, and he lived with the Browns for most of his teenage life. Brown’s marriage to Gordon was ultimately not accepted by Brown’s family, since Brown and Gordon were practically siblings growing up.
Since the first official report was issued, Brown has been put on life support. Her breathing tube was removed on Feb. 20. She is reportedly brain dead, which means she must be put on a ventilator to support her heart and lungs because her brain no longer can. Bobbi Brown, her father, denies these accusations.
