Prom is always an exciting time for juniors and seniors in high school. It is a special time that students look forward to all year long. Some have looked forward to this delightful event since childhood. It is definitely a night to remember! But what could possibly make it even more exciting? Perhaps a special guest? 

This year Ledyard High School will be holding their junior prom at Ledyard, Connecticut’s Lake of the Isles, on May 6, 2023, and joining them will be a very well-known special guest doing a performance. An outside venue has partnered with LHS to make this a possibility. Mrs. Fagan has given the student council very strict instructions prohibiting speaking about this matter, but a few inside sources have been quick to find out some information. All we know so far is that junior and senior prom will both be holding an exciting event, and for junior prom, specifically, a special guest.  

There have been rumors going on around who this special guest may be. Some have said a very popular artist and others have said a local band will be holding this performance at prom. Maybe a group of students could be performing, or it could even be Jenn Carter! But shhh! Don’t let the word spread around quickly, they’re just rumors- no factual statements have been made yet on who this artist/s may be. We are looking forward to this date, so we can get some more details and insight on this special performance!
